SwiftKey 3 gets a holiday sale and update, now priced at $2

Amongst the slew of new features that Google introduced on Android 4.2, the Swype-like keyboard with gesture typing is one that many have raved about. Be that as it may, there are folks who still prefer to use the SwiftKey app, mainly because it offers more features and seemingly has a better prediction system.

If you’re a fan of the latter or looking for the right moment to purchase the app, now here’s your chance to get it at 50% off. The popular keyboard app can now be had for $2.

Along with the price cut, the developer has also pushed out an update for SwiftKey 3. Here’s the 3.1 changelog:

  • New Berry theme
  • New languages: Armenian, Azerbaijani, Georgian, Hindi, Hinglish, Irish, Macedonian, Spanish (Latin America) and Tagalog
  • Split keyboard for normal-sized devices
  • Improved language pack downloads
  • Improvements in key layouts on some keyboards
  • Fixes for some force close issues

I saw SwiftKey on sale last night and decided to give it a try. Now I get why so many people are raving about it. Best 2 bucks I have spent on an app.

Still so buggy with the disappearing prediction bar, I’d avoid until fixed, if it is ever. I don’t understand why it has such a success with those unaddressed flaws.

Now… the SwiftKey Flow public beta doesn’t seem to have this problem anymore, plus it’s got the flow part. So a much better choice at the moment!

Is Def a awesome app the nothing better!

Does anyone know if this version of swiftkey is going to become swiftkey flow when it gets out of beta? As in if i buy this, will i get flow eventually or is it going to stay a completely different product.
