Looks like even Sprint’s Epic 4G Touch gets a power up, thanks to CyanogenMod 9. At the moment, the release is experimental (alpha 3.1 as of this writing), ported from the current build of the…
All those reports about a white HTC EVO 4G LTE on Sprint may finally lead to a satisfying conclusion in the coming days. The latest leaked internal document from the carrier, which Techno Buffalo has gotten their hands on, indicates that the white version of the phone will be hitting stores on July 15.
The expected release date should put it in line with previous color alterations of the EVO line. The HTC EVO 4G too got its white-colored cousin roughly a month after the original model was introduced.
The leaked document also reveals that the white model of HTC EVO 4G LTE will be priced similarly to the regular one. You’ll be able to buy the phone for $199.99 on a two-year contract. Buying it off-contract will set you back $549.99.
And if you’re looking to get a Sprint phone beyond the EVO series, starting from July 15 to August 18, buying a Samsung Epic 4G Touch will get you an extra unit of the same phone model for free. This is part of the carrier’s “buy one get one free” promotion. The Epic 4G Touch will be offered for $99.99 on a two-year contract.
Old as the Epic 4G Touch is, the phone does come with an attractive set of specs — such as a 4.52-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, dual-core 1.2GHz Exynos processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, 8MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, and 1,800mAh battery.
Do any of the two above phones interest you?
