The Samsung Galaxy S3 might be yesteryear’s flagship handset, but it can still compete with new and upcoming devices in the market. The fact that the phone is now going for less than $1 with a new two-year contract, at least the Sprint variant, should help maintain its popularity.
Two weeks before the official unveiling of the Galaxy S4, which has been hinted to sport similar plastic body like its predecessor, it appears Sprint still has some surprises up its Galaxy S3 sleeve, with a leaked internal document showing that the carrier will be introducing a new color variant of the phone.
According to the document, Sprint will be releasing the Galaxy S3 in purple on April 12. Unfortunately, we don’t have picture of the purported purple Galaxy S3 just yet, but now is a good time to use the power of your imagination.
Pricing detail of the purple Galaxy S3 is still unknown, but we wouldn’t be surprised to see it being offered at the same price. Keep in mind as well that this hasn’t been confirmed by the carrier. We’ll find out soon enough if this is the real deal.
