Sprint HTC EVO 4G Froyo update has calendar bug

Users that have downloaded Sprint’s Android 2.2 Froyo update for the HTC EVO 4G handsets are reporting Calendar issues.  A person on Google’s bug submission page has offered up some interesting information.  According to the post:

When editing a calendar entry, on all calendars, the ‘Description’ field is being overwritten with the contents of the ‘Where’ field.  It did not do this with 2.1.

A video showing identifying the issue has also been submitted via YouTube.
