Everyone knows how much of a battery guzzler 4G phones like the Galaxy Nexus can be. At a push, the stock battery should be able to last through a day, but some sacrifices need to be made. Wouldn’t it be neat to have an extended battery for the Galaxy Nexus and enjoy that extra bit of power juice? This is where Sprint’s generous offer comes into play.
Though December is still months away, Sprint is already feeling the spirit of giving. According to a leaked screenshot taken from the carrier’s internal memo, which was obtained by OMGDroid, a special gift awaits current and future owners of Galaxy Nexus: a free extended battery for Google’s flagship phone.
The free extended battery offer will start on August 19 and it doesn’t come with any burdening T&Cs. Here’s what the screenshot says:
