Verizon Wireless, America’s largest carrier, likes to motivate its employees by offering them special editions of its flagship phones from time to time. A few months ago, we’ve showed you a snazzy red Droid Razr Maxx available exclusively to Verizon employees, and now it’s time for its successor to receive the special edition treatment.
The Verizon-only Droid Razr Maxx HD (really, who comes up with these names?) features a red-and-black Kevlar backplate that guarantees you will stand out from the crowd. Each device is serial numbered and sports a Limited Edition inscription.
If you dig the looks of the red Maxx HD, you might be able to buy it from Craigslist, eBay, or other similar channels. It’s not uncommon for Verizon workers to hawk these devices, although you should expect to pay a healthy premium for the chance to sport a limited edition device.
While we are it, expect a similar red edition for the Droid DNA soon. How much would you be willing to pay for a “special edition” red Droid?
