its so crazy this phone has really good hardware, but to start a simple stock sms app it needs 2-3 seconds. + Really childish ui design with smileys and so on.

On stock marshmallow this would be the iphone 5s on android

but rooting on phones with fingerprintscanner is a bad idea i guess

    • yankeesusa

Just install google messenger or chomp sms.

original is always the best, because you paid for its development and it is (should be) perfectly integrated in the os with the same ui. If it sucks, there will be more stuff that doesnt work. f.E. Photo preview in the camera of z5 compact

its like wallpaper, orginal is always the best because the company paid a lot of money to designers to find one wich doesnt get boring and fits..

I didn’t experience that kind of app launching delay on mine, strange. The UI, though I like it, maybe some could find it childish, but then Material Design as a whole, which Sony doesn’t stray away from, could be called that too.

    • FanOfAFanboy

Strange, mine is flying. I use Google now launcher and Google messenger. Plus this thing has been extra snappy since the marshmallow update last week!

    • Davide Capodaglio

No issues found in launching anything. Device is very fluid. I love the stock UI but that’s personal tastes.
