sony xperia z1s review aa-17

As of yesterday, the Sony Xperia Z1S is now available both online at T-Mobile and Sony’s site, as well as brick-and-mortar locations. There’s a lot to love about the Xperia Z1S, but here’s one more reason to consider the handset: Sony is giving away an entire year of Playstation Plus when you pick one up.

As to be expected, this is a limited time promotion and only applies to an Xperia Z1S handset that is purchased directly from T-Mobile or Sony between now until February 12th. After you buy Sony’s latest flagship, you have until March 5th to redeem the offer.

For those that don’t know, Playstation Plus is a special service for the PS3, PS4 and PS Vita that includes heavily discounted games, free games with active subscription and many other special offers. There’s also automatic save backups and other exclusive content.

Obviously Playstation Plus won’t matter unless you happen to already own (or are getting ready to buy) an actual Sony console, but it’s still a heck of a deal considering a 12-month membership is valued at $50. For those that need the reminder, the Sony Xperia Z1S can be yours for $528 outright, or you get grab the handset for zero down and 24 monthly payments of $22.

If you’re not sure if the Z1S is right for you, be sure to check out our full review.

What do you think, anyone planning on picking up the Xperia Z1S and taking advantage of this limited time offer?
