Sony has been churning out electronics and gadgets for decades, many of which have helped shape a generation or two. Hoping that its latest flagship smartphone, the Xperia Z, will join past iconic devices in the Hall of Fame room, Sony has enlisted some its biggest and most memorable tech offerings for the phone’s TV commercial.
While you may not have personally used these devices, the names are likely to ring a bell. From the Trinitron color televisions to the cassette-based Walkmans – they’re a nice reminder of the innovations that Sony has brought to the world.
Amidst the cameos from the old-timers, including the PlayStation gaming console, the company manages to showcase one of the Xperia Z’s coolest features as well. Without spoiling anymore of the ad, Sony has effectively demonstrated the waterproof feature of the phone by pairing the scene with stunning imageries of the paint-splashing Festival of Colors in India – with David Bowie playing in the background.
We have to say that we love the production, but what do you think of the Xperia Z's latest ad?

Had it come out sooner I might have considered it. I finally went with a Nexus 10 in Mars and I am very happy with my choice.
Sony have shown quite interesting products of late but the must but they must start bringing them faster to market.
