A mere week after Sony outed the Xperia Tablet S, the wedge-shaped tablet is already on its way to some markets, specifically the UK. We mentioned before that Carphone Warehouse already reserved a spot for the first Xperia Tablet. But since the retailer hasn’t made it available on its website, your best bet to score the slate is to get it directly from Sony.
You’ll find two models of the Xperia Tablet S that are up for grabs on Sony’s online store: the SGPT121GB (16GB) and SGPT122GB (32GB) – both WiFi only. The former is going for £329, while the latter is being sold for £50 more. The price for the 16GB 3G version of the tablet is set at £429, but you can’t order it just yet.
Meanwhile, the 9.4-inch tablet will officially go on sale in the U.S. tomorrow (September 7) – though you can already preorder it now. Unlike the UK counterpart, there’s a 64GB variant of the tablet to get, which Sony is selling for $599.99. If you don’t mind settling down for less storage, the 16GB and 32GB model will cost $399.99 and $499.99, respectively.
