With CES 2012 just a few days away, it is no longer a surprise to news that has some correlation with it. We’re quite guilty with this too because we can no longer contain our excitement! We’re looking forward to seeing new gadgets pretty soon!
One of the gadgets worth mentioning is Acer’s Iconia Tab A700, which we hear, is about to be released on such date. Despite rumors, Acer has already announced that they will be joining the tablet market with the release of their Iconia Tab A200, a 10” tab packed with dual core processor and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade compatibility.
While Acer still has not revealed plans of launching the Tab A700, we’re keeping our fingers crossed. Compared to the Tab A200, the former is a Tegra 3 quad-core processor tablet with 10.1” display. It also has a screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels, a mini-HDMI port, and a SIM card slot provision for 3G connectivity.
The reason why we’re looking forward to the Tab A700 is (apart from its Tegra 3 quad-core processor), it also has a 5MP camera lens on the back and a second one located in front. The gadget weighs 650 grams and its battery is expected to provide up to 10 hours of usage.
NoMobile.ru has provided pictures of the gadget and has also mentioned that the release of the device might be in March or April of this year. Still, we’re keeping our hopes up!
See you at CES 2012!
