Shelfie, the popular ebook and audiobook discovery application, has just announced a new partnership with Findaway, a leading audiobook distributor. As you might expect, this new partnership will bring many new audiobook bundles to readers through the Shelfie app for Android and iOS. Titles from Blackstone Audio, Gildan Media, Hachette Audio, HarperAudio and a few others will be present in the app thanks to this partnership, as well as books from bestselling authors like Joe Hill, Harper Lee, Chris Kyle, Suzanne Collins, Michael Connelly, James Patterson, Haruki Murakami and more.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Shelfie is a free app that lets readers digitize their print library. You can do this by taking a picture of your bookshelf (or a “shelfie”). The app will then identify a list of books eligible for digital bundles and offer them to you at heavily discounted prices or for free. You can download ebooks or audiobooks from Shelfie by snapping a photo of your book’s copyright page marked with a bookplate or their handwritten name. This is certainly a great idea for an app, and should really catch the attention of the folks who have extensive libraries of their own.

In total, Shelfie has added 20,000 audiobooks to its catalogue of 250,000 ebooks.
