According to NewsOXY, a Samsung official has said that the company will release an Android powered smartphone this year that will be available on T-Mobile USA and Sprint.
Details are sparse, and the only quote attributed to the unnamed Samsung official says nothing about Sprint or T-Mobile, but we had heard previously that the device might be based on the Omnia’s slab form factor and could be available in the middle of 2009.
Not much to go on, I know. But at this point, we’ll take what information we can get.
