Pricing and release date

The TabPRO 8.4 will be available in various markets in the coming months – Samsung did say the device will launch in the first quarter of the year, without specifying actual launch dates or prices – we’ll be back with more details once we have them. Unlike the 12.2-inch models, the Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 will not include a software bundle worth $700 and comprised of various preinstalled subscription-based programs.

  • Msan

Its not TouchWiz, they called Magazine UX.

    • MadCowOnAStick

      I must be dreaming… no touchwiz…

      • Jayfeather787

Only to be replaced by Magazine UX which deviates even further from stock android. I like the use of the screen space, but I am just pointing this out..

        • MadCowOnAStick

          haha i just hope it’s not laggy…

          • Jayfeather787

Hopefully the adreno 330 will be able to handle this. I bet it uses up more than half of its RAM from the UI alone though.

        • ihatehipsternerds

Shut up with your stock android, go buy nexus tablets if you want stock android. Why act like you don’t have an option to get this stock android.

          • Jayfeather787

Bro, I said it makes good use of the screen space. I am not bashing it. On another article I said that this was the best use of screen space on a tablet I have ever seen.

Title: “Samsung Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 official: specs, features, pricing and release date”
“without specifying actual launch dates or prices.”

LIES! I thought you guys at AA were better than that!

    • Jayfeather787

Bro, ease up a little. They are reporting what they can. Maybe the title needs to be edited a little. They are saying all the info they have. They said Samsung has not specified a release date, and AA went out of their way to forecast that the tablet will be coming in the following months. Also, they provided the fact that is will be preloaded with 700 dollars worth of apps, so one can assume that it will be priced around 700 dollars.

  • These should have been released this year, instead of that BS they have been bringing out.

    • Bob90

But they were released this year…… Yeah i know what you mean though, the Tab 3 tablets were very disappointing

  • Almost 360 ppi , impressive! With 4800mAh, I don’t expect too much on battery life. Maybe about 8 hours, IOW, not impressive at all.

    • Jusephe

It’s super clear LCD => nothing impressive.

  • slk

Unbelievable, pull some punches, flash your AA badges and get the pricing

    • Jayfeather787

Well maybe Samsung is still deciding the prices. Ease up a little. They will get the prices as soon as they can.

It looks like my Galaxy S4 with a bigger screen. I love my S4, but I don’t think I could justify buying a bigger version of it (wow, 3.4 more inches). It’s like trying to justify buying an LG G Pad 8.3 when currently owning a Nexus 5, You start to ask yourself if you really do need that extra hardware.

    • DigitalCoke

I think it has more options like tv remote control is better than the s4. i bet there are more maybe someone who knows will reply. Thanks
