samsung super bowl ad

The Super Bowl is coming. We might get sued for saying that without the NFL’s express written consent, but we don’t care, because we’re fearless like that.

Along with the Big Game, comes the most disputed ad window of the year, when dozens of companies compete to air the most impressive ads. This year, Samsung has signed actors Seth Rogen and Paul Rudd to star in a two-minute ad that will air during the Super Bowl, and today we got a nice little preview of what’s to come on game day.

The ad is directed by Jon Favreau, and spoiler alert, it’s darned funny. Samsung’s products are not central, but we don’t mind. We’ll just let you enjoy it.

    ha kudos

Okay maybe cause I’m not ‘merican, but what exactly can’t they say?

    • michael interbartolo

the NFL is very protective of the SuperBowl and limits who can say it, talk about it, broadcast it.

    • Infinite7154

They can’t say Super Bowl or the name of the teams playing in the Super Bowl. All of those terms are trademarked by the NFL

Even I got it and I’m Finnish and I’ve never watched Super Bowl. Funny ad :D

  • Jeff Alberda

How come no one mentions Bob Odenkirk, the guy who plays the awesome Saul Goodman on Breaking Bad. I can’t wait to see the full commercial.

    hilarious. love Samsung commercials.
seems like being the maker of the best tech devices isn’t enough for Samsung.
they also went and became the best at making commercials.

  • I am know going to watch the Super Bowl just to see this commercial (which is the only reason I watch besides the half-time game)

    J’ai rien compris….
    In French ?

  • El Plato Supreme

Who the fudge is Seth Rogans? And what’s “direct by Jon Favreau”? Grammar nazi out!

    • Oh. That’s embarrassing. Fixed.

      • El Plato Supreme

Try again! It’s Seth Rogen, not Rogan. You yourself spelled it that way in the title, but not in the body. Sheesh!
