Samsung had a lot of the world’s attention yesterday when they unveiled the Galaxy Gear and Galaxy Note 3 devices. Both here highly anticipated announcements that have gotten people excited all over again for Samsung products. However, it appears as though Samsung unintentionally announced someone else’s product. We’re talking, of course, about a tablet-optimized official Twitter app.
It looks reminiscent of the Google+ interface with the 2 column layout but that’s really where the similarities end. Not much is known about this mysterious new Twitter app except it looks really nice on a tablet screen. So there are no release dates or anything like that.
If you want to see it for yourself, the screen shot is below, courtesy of Android Police. For regular Twitter users, this could be an exciting update. At least for people who use the official Twitter app. We know a number of people have, at this point, resided to using third party Twitter apps.
When (or if) this tablet-optimized Twitter interface gets released, will that be enough to change your mind about your third party Twitter app and go back to the official? If you have a moment, we’d like to know what you think about it in the comments.

it’s incredible it took what? 5 years to come over from iOS?
I think the real issue is that people use the official Twitter app.
Theres are tons of great alternatives, almost all having a tablet UI available.
