Samsung 256GB MicroSD card

Aren’t satisfied with that paltry 128GB microSD card you just bought for your new smartphone? You’re in luck, because Samsung has just taken the wraps off its new 256GB microSD card.

It not only boasts read and write speeds of up to 95MB/s and 90MB/s, respectively, but also has the capacity to store up to 12 hours of 4K UHD video, 33 hours of Full HD video or over 55,000 photos at one time. Samsung also points out (a few times) that this card is great for use in action cameras and 360-degree video recorders. So if you were already planning on picking up Samsung’s Gear 360 camera at some point in the next few months, this card might be your best bet to store all of those hefty video files.

The card is also waterproof, temperature-proof, X-ray-proof and magnetic-proof.
