Samsung has churned out another China-bound Android-powered handset. Today’s handset flavor is the i899, an Android offering with smooth curves and a button layout reminiscent of the Samsung Galaxy i7500. The i899 will target the mid-level consumer and will feature a 3.2 inch AMOLED resistive touchscreen display with 320 x 480 resolution, CDMA 2000/EV-DO Rev.A, a 3.2MP camera with autofocus and flash, an 800MHz processor, Wi-Fi / WAPI, GPS, DivX support, and microSD card expansion. The i899 is destined for China Telecom and will debut in the upcoming weeks at a yet-to-be-determined price. A large size press photo of this latest Samsung offering is after the break.
