In addition to all the new Android handsets and tablets that we have already seen in various reports and which Samsung is said to launch in the coming months, we have one more unannounced device to show you, the China-bound GT-S7566.
Apparently we’re looking at a mid-range device that will run Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box, which is somewhat disturbing, especially considering the handsets we’ve seen in the past weeks coming from various Chinese Android device makers.
Nonetheless, the GT-S7566 is headed to China and it will feature a 4-inch WVGA LCD display, 1.5GHz MSM7227A-0T Turbo Cortex A5 chip, 3-megapixel camera, A-GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct and 1500mAh battery.
We have no specific release dates for the handset, although it is rumored to launch this month and we have no idea how much it will cost, but in case you’re looking for an affordable Android handset in China, the GT-S7566 will surely qualify.

Um, I have a question. Why does Samsung release phones like this? Especially for China… A 3MP camera, nothing special in terms of hardware of software… I guess it will cost something like $300-350 at least, and it won’t sell well, since there are lots of local phones on the Chinese market with better specs and lower prices. Is there any sense in releasing such phones???
