Samsung Gear Fit and Gear Neo are now in stock at Amazon

It looks like the wait is over for those of you waiting to get your wrists on the Samsung Gear Fit. Amazon has updated their website to show the Gear Fit is now in stock but may require an extra 1-2 days to process. The Gear Neo is also in stock and ready to order, however Amazon is reporting that the Gear 2 is out of stock. The availability comes with a report from Android Central who stated that preorders for the Samsung Gear Fit, Gear Neo and Gear 2 have started shipping.

The Gear 2 is the latest version of Samsung’s premium smartwatch, whereas the Gear 2 Neo removes the camera and changes up the build quality, opting for more of a plasticky, sporty build. The Gear Fit is by far the most interesting of all three, packing in a curved AMOLED display, and much more of a sports focus.

All feature Samsung’s latest generation AMOLED tech, and each devices’ display looks literally painted on, with colors that really ‘pop’ . The Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit are both now shipping on Amazon for $199. The Gear 2 can be had for the $299. Oh, and there’s apparently a way to make them work with nearly any Android device already working, too.

Gear fit still looks appealing even after Android Wear.
    Dat price tho :/

Do not expect that Wear will be way cheaper. Price will be around the same level. I would also compare functionality that is better on the Samsung devices – Wear seem to be notification device only, have not seen any apps running on them…

Apps will come slowly. You’re right about the price though…can’t expect every device to be priced like a nexus device
