Samsung helped pave the way for Android tablets with the Galaxy Tab. The Koreans haven’t been afraid to break the mold, either. By subsequently releasing tablets in an assortment of sizes, Sammy has given consumers a wider variety of options.

The successor to the original Galaxy Tab, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, was introduced about a couple of months ago. For those who have been eyeing on the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0, the special student edition offered by Best Buy should help make that decision easier, thanks to the bundled bonuses.

At 10.5 mm thick, the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 isn’t as thin as the Nexus 7, but it’s about the same weight. It boasts a dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, 3MP rear camera, VGA front-facing camera, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

Though it’s reported to be coming to stores by next week, you can now find the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition at Best Buy stores. The bundled tablet comes with a free Bluetooth keyboard dock with a stand and a USB connector. The special edition tablet will set you back $250.

One lucky customer who has purchased the Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Student Edition took the time to do an unboxing video of the 7-incher. It’s worth the look before you shell out $250 for the tablet at your local Best Buy.
