Samsung Galaxy Tab 3
According to Samsung, its upcoming Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 tablet is going to be affordably priced once it finally gets released. We’re sure that some of you are already looking forward to it. Well, if you are indeed one of those people who are waiting for it, then perhaps you’d like to know the latest info we have on the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0’s pricing.

Some time in the last 24 hours, an online listing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 appeared on the web site of NY-based retailer Adorama. The page lists a certain “Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8GB 7-inch Android Tablet” that is said to be of the white variety. And do you know what else is specified on the page? The tablet’s online retail price.

The Adorama listing for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 — which has since been taken down — said that the tablet is available for purchase for only $199.99. That’s a reasonably OK price considering what you’ll be getting in terms of specs with it.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0’s highlight features include a 7-inch 1024×600 pixel resolution display, a 1.2GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB of RAM, a 3-megapixel rear camera, a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. Every model will include a standard 4,000 mAh battery.

It’s not quite clear why Adorama thought it all right to completely remove the tablet’s page from its online store. Maybe it’s waiting on a few more details regarding its stock to arrive. Whatever the case, we’ll be sure to update you when the tablet becomes available once again, hoping with you that it would be for good.

  • I will wait for the next Nexus 7.

    • i realize Samsung has marketing on their side, and everyone knows about the “galaxy” line. But hopefully people do some research before throwing $200 around. and if they do that, they will see the Nexus 7 come up in EVERY post. like i said below, unless you really need a rear camera (that probably takes terrible pictures) and need an SD slot (get a 32GB nexus 7) then there really isn’t a reason to buy this over the Nexus 7.

MTP file transfer is buggy and I’ve had some major issues getting stuff off my N7. That can be significantly alleviated with an SD card slot, and I wish Google would just include one already!
That much being said, I agree with you. Whine as I may, I have a Nexus and sold my GTab 2-7.

      • when i got my original tab wifi 2 years ago, i bought it because was a samsung… and i really regret it. is the worse tablet i have used.

  • Balraj

I’ll wait for next nexus tab
    Poor pricing

    • Trevor Kinsie

um…that’s pretty great pricing if you ask me, considering the Nexus 7 is currently priced at $209, not saying I’d get it though.

      • its not bad if you NEED a camera and NEED an SD slot.
if those aren’t your cup o’ tea, then the CURRENT nexus 7 bests it in every way.
        higher Res screen
        bigger battery
        faster processor
        and later version of Android.

even if i NEEDED the camera, i would still find it hard to pull the trigger on this thing given the “poor” resolution, and 8GB memory (which i would HAVE to upgrade at another $30 or so.

        • Trevor Kinsie

30 dollars for another memory card??? Man you’re paying way way too much

          • 32GB class 10’s are in the $25 range.

      • Balraj

        I’m from India..I had the galaxy tab 2 7.0
Bought it for 20k.just after two months price goes to 16k…so I think its poor pricing
        just my point of view

  • Johnathan Katz

I think I’ll be getting the next Nexus 7, it’s the best tablet on the market right now.

  • Anthony Tarantino

$199 for 8GB is a terrible price, especially with the HP Slate having the same specs for $30 cheaper. There’s also Acer’s upcoming iPad Mini clone (the Iconia A1) that has better specs than the Galaxy Tab 3 at the same price.

  • Anthony Tarantino

Acer’s Iconia Tab A1 (the iPad Mini clone) has a bigger screen, better specs, and sells for the same price as the Galaxy Tab 3. The HP Slate has the exact same specs as the Galaxy Tab 3, and it’s $30 cheaper.

Typical overpriced Samsung junk. All those preinstalled apps and bloated TouchWiz skin will kill the 8GB of storage. Samsung needs to make a “Google Edition” of their Galaxy Tab line, like they’re doing with the Galaxy S4 phone.
