If you’re an owner of a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, then you’ll be glad to know that an upgrade to the interface is now available. The TouchWiz update adds new functionalities and streamlines the whole navigation to make your Android tablet use that much easier and more enjoyable.

Interface customizations are usually scoffed at, particularly by long-time Android tablet users. The TouchWiz update, however, is a different story. With it comes a few  nifty changes that are sure to highlight exactly just how powerful the Honeycomb 3.1 OS is.

At the bottom of the screen you can find Live Panels, a taskbar-like application where functions like the calculator, calendar, weather and other useful info apps can be accessed. The centralized button will showcase floating widgets for every application so that you get to quickly see and navigate through the host of software your tablet is actually packing. You can now say goodbye to the tedious digging through layers of baffling and counter-intuitive categories.

The nifty application Social Hub has been added as well (which most of you other Galaxy users are familiar with) and filters in messages between feeds from a handful of services like Facebook, Twitter and Gmail. Media and Music Hubs have been integrated as well for easier access to movie and audio downloads. Acquiring this much needed update is can be conveniently accomplished by simply accessing the System Updates section via the device’s Settings app.

The update, once downloaded, can’t be taken out though. But I’m pretty sure nobody  you wouldn’t want to go back to the old TouchWiz after if all goes well.

I would love the GS4 and the HTC One…But more of my support goes to the GS4….The most obvious reason for that is I have got a new GS4 and not the HTC One.

Funny, all things considered I’d easily rank the Galaxy Nexus over the Galaxy S3, yet The Nexus 4 listed AFTER the S3. That’s a head scratcher.

Put simply, now that HTC is gone, you will get jack support. If you thought support was bad before, you haven’t seen nothin yet. Note 2 FTW! lol It’s a good time to be a Samsung fan ~ woot.
