Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere 2

Although QWERTY slider phones aren’t as popular as they used to be, there are still users out there that prefer having a physical keyboard for messaging and other tasks. If you are this type of Android user and a Verizon customer, Amazon Wireless has a deal for you. Right now the Samsung Galaxy Stratosphere 2 is selling for just $.01 for existing customers looking for an upgrade.

The bad news is this deal is only for Verizon customers that have an account currently eligible for an upgrade, and doesn’t apply to new users. If you were thinking about switching to Verizon and want the Stratosphere 2, you will have to pay $100 through Amazon Wireless. That might seem like a lot, but it’s still $30 cheaper than what Verizon is selling it for.

The Galaxy Stratosphere 2 might not be the most powerful phone around, but it isn’t a weakling either. The handset features a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 4-inch WVGA screen, 4G LTE and 1080mAh battery. What do you think, interested or not?

I wish it worked on AT&T. Where is an AT&T slider with LTE?

  • Radio shack has it free!

The battery isn’t 1080mAh, it’s 1800. Just to clear that up.
