Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini specs apparently out, looking pretty good

The specifications of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini have apparently been outed by German site All About Samsung.

The source cited by the site provided a screenshot of the AnTuTu benchmark running on the device, revealing some of the specifications of the device. The Galaxy S4 Mini  is said to be launching in a few weeks, at the Samsung Premiere event in London.

According to the leak, the CPU will be a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 clocked at 1.7 GHz, with Adreno 305 graphics. The device will have 1.5 GB of RAM, as well as an 8 megapixel rear camera. The front camera will feature a 2.1 megapixel sensor.

The benchmark is for the GT-I9595 variant, but more versions will probably exist, according to the info that accidentally appeared on a Samsung support site. Some of these versions may have slightly different specifications.

As for the resolution of the 4.3-inch screen, nothing’s new – the screenshot shows 960 x 540, although the user profile of a variant with 720p resolution, the SGH-I257, has previously surfaced. Finally, the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini will run Android Jelly Bean 4.2.2.

Are you looking forward to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini? Do you plan on buying one when it comes out?

    1.5gb ram is alright

    will wait for further review

  • Pity about the screen, but the specs almost rival s3

    • Piyush

man the adreno 305 gpu sucks greatly ,its little bit improvement over adreno 205 which also sucks because it can’t play temple run 2 like games without lag.

      • Oh is it. I don’t know the graphics processors well

        • Joshua Hill

Neither do I but I know the Mali 400 in the real world is slow compared to the competitors so I wouldn’t be surprised if the adreno 305 is comparable or faster.
