Guess what Sauerkraut, beer, and Samsung Galaxy S3 have in common? They are all things that the Germans can’t get enough off. Here’s something to support our theory. Having only been listed on Amazon Germany for a couple of days, the elusive Samsung Galaxy S3 has zoomed its way up on the online retailer’s mobile chart.
To be specific, the yet-to-be-announced Samsung Galaxy S3 sits on the best-seller list for off-contract smartphones that Amazon Germany is selling. It handily beats Samsung’s own Galaxy S Plus, the Galaxy S2, and Galaxy Note. Amazing, ja?
Unfortunately, there’s not much new information or pictures that the Galaxy S3 product page on Amazon Germany can give us – at least since we last reported about it. The same specs of 4.7-inch Super AMOLED screen, 12MP camera, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, 16GB model, and the same €599 pricing are still there.
With 10 days away from the big unveiling of the super phone, Samsung continues to unleash their online marketing campaign by revealing several teaser websites and videos. This crazy hype surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S3 better be worth it. If you want to secure a unit of the flagship device, don’t forget to join our Samsung Galaxy S3 International Giveaway!

Germans love Sauerkraut? I really would like to know where this myth came from.
Shows the faith (very much earned) the public has in Samsung and there confidence that they’ll produce the best smartphone available. No specs and no photos but everyone is already willing to spend top dollar for it.
Crazy how much hype this phone has. This has to be making apple a little nervous. This phone has to take a big bite out of the iPhones sales. This phone will be available world wide 2-3 months before iPhone will be announced. Crazy.
Now how many other brands do Amazon carry in Germany? As far as I can see from their home page the carry Android and a few Nokia Symbian models. So in that context the fact that the S3 tops their chart may not be so amazing after all. It’s about as exciting as Nokia Lumia 900 topping the U.S Amazon Chart.
