Samsung Galaxy S3’s intelligence showcased on new official video

Judging from the brisk sales of Samsung’s flagship device, by now the world is already head over heels for the Galaxy S3. But Samsung isn’t ready to let the romance fade.  They have just released a new video that emphasizes how intelligent the phone is. Be prepared to fall in love all over again.

Showcased on the video are the Galaxy S3’s many smart features: the Smart Stay, S Voice, Smart Alert, Direct Call and Social Tag. These are basically the things tech geek dreams are made of.

Samsung wants to dazzle users with the Galaxy S3’s eye-tracking ability, which  can tell whether you’re actively looking at the phone before it shuts the screen off automatically. The S Voice is also a prominent highlight on the video, showing some scenarios on how to best use the voice assistant to check for the weather, re-set appointment, listen to music, and more.

Check out the official video above for the complete Samsung Galaxy S3 delight, and let us know whether you’ve used your Galaxy S3 to its true potential, in the comments below.

    give me this phone now

  • I’ve used all of those features. My only issue (being a night owl) is I don’t really have a fair environment to test Smart Stay. It’s not effective in dim lighting.

smart stay doesnt work that well if you wear glasses !

    • yeah I disabled it because with glasses it can’t find my eyes because of reflections and all.

I don’t wear glasses and it doesn’t work that we’ll for me either.

Shut up and take my money!

Smart Stay is one of the main features I was looking forward to, but it doesn’t work half the time. Other features that don’t work or barely work are Direct Call and Smart Alert. I’m hoping a future software upgrade will address these issues.

    • I use Direct Call every day. You can use it in more than just the messaging app as well. I wish all my phones before this had it. Smart Alert also has never failed me. Smart Stay does not work for me with glasses on and I need them to see lol

Every feature works for me and works well. The only exception is that smart stay doesn’t work in the dark (I would not expect it to!)
