Samsung Galaxy S3

In the United States, Thanksgiving season means plenty of great deals, especially on the Friday after the holiday. What if you don’t want to wait that long? Amazon has you covered thanks to a new promotion for the Samsung Galaxy S3 and several other Sprint phones that starts immediately. The flagship Samsung smartphone will now set you back just $49.99 with a two-year contract.

The Galaxy S3 will be available in either blue or white from Amazon. Unfortunately for those of us already with Sprint, this deal is only for new customers. Still, if you’ve considered switching to a new carrier, now seems like the time to do it.

Need a reminder on the S3′s specs? The Galaxy S3 North American version is powered by a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 processor, 2GB of RAM and has a 4.8-inch 1280 x 720 resolution display. Other features include an 8MP rear cam, 1.9MP front cam, a 2100 mAh battery, 16/32GB internal storage and microSD expansion. There’s also support for HSPA+42 and LTE baked in.

Looking for a handset that’s a bit more basic and even lower in cost? Amazon is also selling two other Sprint smartphones at killer prices. The HTC Evo 4G LTE will cost just $19.99 with a two year contract. Only have one penny to your name right now? That’s enough money to land you a Samsung Galaxy Victory 4G.

One thing to keep in mind is that these are limited time offers, and we really don’t know how long Amazon will offer the smartphones at these prices. If you are interested, you should probably act quickly. What do you think, do these offers make you want to consider switching to Sprint?
