Samsung Galaxy S3

Last week we reported that the Samsung Galaxy S3 might very well be on its way over to Fido. Now the long wait is over and the handset has officially launched to Fido's network.

So how much will the S3 cost you? If you are a new customer you will have to pay $400 and sign up for a 2-year contract, which is pretty steep considering the long-term commitment required. For existing customers, you can just buy the handset outright for $550.

Though most of us probably know all about the S3′s specs at this point, as a refresher it is powered by a 1.5GHz dual-core processor with 2GB of RAM. Other specs include LTE, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and an 8MP camera.

So how about it, anyone in Canada interested in picking up the Galaxy S3 through Fido?
