The Samsung Galaxy Note got the update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in July 2012. Since Jelly Bean originally launched, Samsung Canada and many other carriers have said that the device would see the update to Jelly Bean early 2013.
Samsung Galaxy Note owners will have to wait a few weeks, but looking at Rogers’ OS upgrade schedule shows that the Galaxy Note SGH-I717R will receive some Jelly Bean love mid-March, which isn’t that far away from now. Mid-March is not a solid date though. The update schedule, as is the norm, is subject to change.
It’s great to hear that Jelly Bean is headed to the Samsung Galaxy Note! Any Canadian owners looking forward to the update?

Been waiting a lot so far. I wonder why it takes so much time? Bell does not seem to care, ounce you bought the phone. It’s you and Android…
Stop spreading these rumor crap. Your record is zero on accuracy. You just inflame all of us when we don’t see the update by the unwarranted and unsubstantiated rumored dates. Do us all a favor,…stop it.
1st March but where is JB for note? Another few days and Samsung brand will be removed from my life forever… Heights of patience so far…
Rogers refuses to commit to a release date of Jelly Bean for Galaxy Note
