In case you haven’t noticed, we’re reporting live from IFA 2012 in Berlin, bringing the scoop on the freshest gadgets that will be on everyone’s lips in the coming months. Speaking of which, it doesn’t get as fresh as the Samsung Galaxy Camera.

You’ve seen our extensive picture gallery of the Samsung Galaxy Camera. But there’s only so much that static images can show. Hence, especially for our readers, this is Android Authority’s first hands-on video of the Galaxy Camera.

As mentioned by Darcy, the Samsung Galaxy Camera doesn’t come as thin as the company’s usual offering. Then again, this is a whole new segment that Samsung has created. Yes, there’s the Nikon Coolpix S800c, but that one doesn’t come with 3G/4G connectivity.

Lest we forget that the Galaxy Camera comes with Jelly Bean out of the box, has a 4.8-inch HD Super Clear display, and is powered by a quad-core 1.4GHz processor. As for the camera bits, it has a 16.3MP BSI sensor, and 23mm equivalent f/2.8 lens with 21x optical zoom. The full specs of the Galaxy Camera can be found right here.

Enjoy the video and hit the comments to share your awe of the Samsung Galaxy Camera with others.

very nice hands on. After I considered purchasing the Nikon Coolpix C800s, this camera looks pretty amazing with better zoom, 3G/4G connectivity, and other little things. I would love to see another in-depth review of the camera. I would like to see a side-by-side comparison of the Galaxy SIII AMOLED screen with the Galaxy Camera’s LED screen. Thanks for the video and look forward to more!

Keep it under 200 and I’ll buy one!

Nice, but can it save the images in RAW. If not, no point, even for a point and shoot.
