The rumors keep on coming, both in terms of Android 2.3 and the Samsung Galaxy 2 and/or the Nexus S. To keep things from getting too sensationalist, we’ll keep it short. A Twitter post from Eldar Murtazin (@eldarmurtazin) tells us he was “Playing with se anzo and galaxy 2 aka i9100. Se is nice but sams is so technically advanced. Dual core etc”

The word is that that Google and Samsung have a deal that they will be the first to release the next generation of Android, known as Gingerbread (2.3). Google are keen to get this out as soon as possible, but of course that means Samsung are going to need a phone that can take advantage of the new feature sets. If a dual-core Samsung is on the way, they better step on it. Furthermore, this would suggest as though Android will have optimized support for multiple cores.

These rumors sure are touching on a lot of my requirements for …

the Perfect Android (in my opinion of course):
    1. 4.3-4.5 inch super amoled
    2. Dual core
    3. “4G”
    4. Vanilla Android
    5. High capacity battery
    6. Quality sound
    7. Noise cancelling microphone
    8. Quality still camera
    9. 1080p video recording
    10. Quality stereo speakers
    11. Kickstand
