Samsung announced a winner of a handset today with the formal unveiling of the Galaxy S. The Galaxy S leads the pack of Samsung Android offerings with a whopping  4-inch, WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, a 5MP rear-facing camera with HD recording, a VGA front-facing camera, Swype keyboard, 1GHz processor, GPS, connectivity options including HSDPA, WiFi, and Bluetooth, and Android 2.1 as the power underneath it all. The launch date and pricing were not announced so we will have wait for Samsung to make that information official before we add this monster of a phone to our “must-have” list.
