As promised, U.S. Cellular is now offering the Samsung Acclaim Android powered smartphone. Based heavily on Sprint’s Samsung Moment design, the Acclaim features a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.2-inch HVGA touchscreen, a 3 megapixel shooter with LED flash, stereo Bluetooth for wireless headsets, WiFi, and Android 2.1 Eclair. The phone offers users up to 8 hours of talk time and 18.8 days of standby.
The Samsung Acclaim is on sale now for $99.95, with a mail-in rebate, and two year service agreement.
