The Samsung 10-inch Tablet looks and feels great. It features a 1280 x 800 pixel display, an 8MP camera, and will run Android 3.0 Honeycomb. It will also two sets of speakers for virtual surround sound. Internally, it’s specs are virtually the same as the Motorola Xoom, for it too features a Dual Core 1Ghz Nvidia Tegra 2 Processor as well.
It runs quite smooth, and is similar in style and aesthetic to the Motorola Xoom. Really, the only difference between the devices, aside from build quality, will be the fact that the Samsung has an 8 megapixel camera, while the Motorola Xoom has a 5 megapixel one. A keen reader of ours (thanks Cece) was quick to point out that the Xoom has an HDMI port, whereas the Samsung 10-inch doesn’t.
Once we get a hands on for ourselves, we will be able to report back to you on some of the more interesting differences, like build quality, and of course, battery life.

I am sure there are more differences than only the camera megapixels.
For example, I think the Xoom has an HDMI output port, but not the Galaxy Tab (?). Also the Xoom has a barometer sensor. I did not see one in the Galaxy specs
You’re absolutely right. The Xoom has an HDMI port, whereas the Samsung 10-inch doesn’t. As for a barometer sensor, I don’t think it really matters, does it? I guess it might, especially if “crowd-sourced” weather reports matter to you.
