A new report from South Korea says that Samsung may launch as many as five new Galaxy devices in the first quarter of next year, including the upcoming Galaxy S5 flagship.
Other devices may include the recently rumored Galaxy Note 3 Lite, a cheaper Galaxy Note 3 version, and a Galaxy Grand 2 Lite model, that may be a cross between the Galaxy Grand and the recently launched Galaxy Grand 2.
The news however, is unconfirmed, as Samsung is yet to officially announced any new Galaxy devices. However, this isn’t the first time ETNews says the Galaxy S5 may arrive earlier than expected – one of its previous reports suggested the handset could launch as early as March or April.
Of Samsung’s next batch of Galaxy devices, the Galaxy S5 is obviously the most interesting, as the handset will be the company’s upcoming flagship device. Recent rumors suggest the Galaxy S5 may pack a metal case, while benchmark results for an unreleased SM-G900S device – which may very well be the model number of the Galaxy S5 – revealed the phone could pack a 2560 x 1440 resolution display, 2.5GHz Snapdragon 800/805 processor and Android 4.4 KitKat.
We’ll remind you that these are still rumors at this point, so don’t get too excited just yet.
