Last Month Samsung announced two new colors for the Galaxy Note 3: rose gold and merlot red. Originally we learned that the colors would hit the Chinese market first with other markets to follow down the road.
Now if a new tweet from famed leaker @evleaks proves correct, it seems that the Rose Gold Note 3 will soon be making its way to Verizon. While the tweet doesn’t clarify, it’s likely that both the Rose Gold black and Rose Gold white versions will come to Big Red.

At first glance the Rose Gold models of the Note 3 might not seem particularly different from Verizon’s current black and white color choices, and that’s because the only real difference is the copper-gold painted accents. Honestly the addition of the merlot red Note 3 would have been a lot more exciting, but at least the rose gold versions add a little splash of color for those looking for something that stands out a bit more.
Aside from the uniquely colored accents, the Rose Gold Note 3 will carry the same specs as the standard version including a 2.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, 3GB RAM, 32/64GB storage options, microSD, a 13MP rear cam, 2MP front cam, a 1080p 5.7-inch display and a 3200 mAh battery.
No details were provided as to when we can expect to see the rose gold color make its way to Verizon, though we wouldn’t be too surprised to see it arrive sometime in the first quarter of the year (keep in mind that’s just speculation). What do you think of the new rose gold color, like it or do you feel that it’s too similar to the existing white and black colors?
