Root your Brand New Motorola Droid 4 Now

Well that was quick, but what did we expect from the Android Developers community? They are always quick at rooting and creating ROM’s among other things. The Droid 4 was only released yesterday and now we have a way to root it, courtesy of security researcher Dan Rosenberg.

That’s some pretty good news for people that were waiting to pick this one up until there was a way to root it. Currently this method is Windows-only, at least for now. Download a .zip file, put your Droid 4 into USB debugging mode, and run the exploit file. Takes just a couple minutes and a couple reboots. It’s just that easy.

He would donate the rest of the money for charity. It seems this was not acceptable by many Android users out there, so he decided to just donate everything to the American Red Cross.”
if the money is donated to Dan, what he do with that is none of anybody’s concern. most developers use donations to get new device(s), i don’t see any problem with that. Dan even donated the remains to charity, what more can anyone ask for? if one doesn’t like the proposition, do not donate. it’s that simple. the man deserve his reward and if anyone still disagree, don’t use his hard fruit of labor.
