Eight months into the year, Ice Cream Sandwich is still as elusive as it has always been for some Rogers subscribers.  The good news is the Canadian carrier has just posted the latest OS upgrade timeline for many of its devices.

According to the new timeline, owners of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 8.9 can expect to get the Android 4.0 upgrade in early September. For comparison’s sake, you might be interested to know that Telus customers who own the two tabs are on the same boat, as Telus has pushed back the long awaited update to September.

Next on the list are three Sony Xperia phones — the Xperia Arc S, Xperia Arc, and Xperia Mini Pro — all scheduled to get their scoop of Ice Cream Sandwich in early September.  We’re not sure what’s with the hold up with these three, seeing that Sony has finalized the ICS firmware months ago.

Meanwhile, the ICS wait for Motorola Razr owners has almost come to an end, as the update is expected to arrive in late August. Is this a good time to say better late than never?

Do you see your device on the list above? Are you still looking forward to see Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich on your phone and tablet? Please leave your thoughts and comments below.
