Republic Wireless has been trying to tempt customers to make the switch to its hybrid WiFi cellular network with its $19 monthly plan for unlimited data, text, and talk.

If you’re put off by the necessity to grab the carrier’s only Android device so far, the Motorola Defy XT, at the price of $249, Republic is now offering a new price option that lets you buy the handset for a mere $99. What’s the catch?

Instead of paying $19 per month, you’ll have to pay $29 to enjoy Republic’s unlimited service. There’s still no contract to worry about, though. If the phone or service doesn’t meet your expectation, you can return it within 30 days to receive a full refund and cancel the subscription without any penalty.

To make the deal even more alluring, you’ll also get a $50 voucher to spend on Google Play, courtesy of Motorola.

Sounds intriguing? Head to website now to get more details or even sign up.
