Those of you craving to play a Renaissance-themed FPS shooter on your Tegra 3 mobile device are in for a great day. Renaissance Blood THD (previously known as Da Vinci THD) is no available on Google Play and the TegraZone, waiting for you to grab it, if you don’t mind spending the $4 it goes for.
Before rushing to download the game, you should know this first-person-shooter is optimized for Tegra 3 devices only. The game won’t even run on Tegra 2 devices, although the developers claim that it might grace devices running on the older chip sometime in the future.
The premise of the game is pretty simple and, in my opinion, a refreshing departure from the sci-fi themes that seem to be norm in mobile games these days. According to the app’s description on Google Play, the great Leonardo Da Vinci died and your task is to find the blueprints he left behind. What’s in the blueprints? Well, you’ll have to play the game to find out.
Gameplay-wise, Renaissance Blood HD seems like a mixture of old and new – particularly the classic House of the Dead and the most recent Infinity Blade for iOS devices. So be prepared to hack and slash your way to the different levels of the game until you’ve achieved your main goal of finding Da Vinci’s lost blueprints.
Key features of the game include:
- Designed specifically to take full advantage of devices using NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core mobile processor with its 4-PLUS-1 quad-core CPU architecture that delivers outstanding performance and amazing battery life, plus a 12-core GPU, to deliver up to 5x the performance of the world’s first dual-core processor, Tegra 2.
- Intuitive controls for players of all levels
- Dynamic character lighting and gamma correction for realistic light calculations
- Interactive scene objects using advanced physics simulations
Ready for another epic adventure on your Tegra 3 device? Go ahead, splurge a little on your app budget and grab Renaissance Blood THD. I would if I could. But unfortunately my Galaxy Note is not supported by the game.
As for you, feel free to share your comments about the game, we’d really love to know them.
