Late last month we learned of a leaked Sprint memo that suggested the red Nexus 5 would reportedly end up launching to Google Play on February 4th, a little over a week ahead of Valentine’s Day. It turns out that the launch date was spot on, the Red Nexus 5 has arrived, priced at the same $350 for 16GB or $400 for 32GB.

Other than the color change, this is the same Nexus 5 we already know and love. As a refresher, that means a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 CPU, 2GB RAM and 16 or 32GB of storage. Other specs include an 8MP rear cam with OIS, a 1.3MP front cam, LTE support, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0LE, Android 4.4 KitKat and a 2300 mAh battery.

For those that are considering picking up the handset now that it has arrived in red, be sure to check out our full review.

To snag up the red Nexus 5, head on over to the Play Store. What do you think, anyone planning on picking this one up?
