The highly anticipated Motorola Droid Bionic was one of the most cutting-edge smartphones announced at CES 2011. Originally, it was scheduled to be released on Q2 of 2011, however, its debut has been deferred as…
After more than half a year of waiting, we can all finally sigh with relief, “At last! There it is!” The Motorola DROID BIONIC‘s final form has finally been confirmed through a Best Buy promotional poster/flyer sent to This is my next yesterday.
Pause for a while and ogle:
The Motorola DROID BIONIC has been spotted recently making the rounds at the Federal Communications Commision (FCC), and we knew that its coming was very near. The phone has eluded many who wanted to take a look at what delicious treats it has to offer, but until this poster came, all we had were blurry, leaked photos which seemed to change as the months passed by after the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 where the DROID BIONIC was first introduced.
Let’s all hope that the ad’s graphic description of the Motorola DROID BIONIC–”With the ferocious force of Verizon 4G LTE, the Droid Bionic is an all-powerful, unstoppable machine”–does live up to its promise.
The DROID BIONIC went off-radar for some time, presumably to undergo several redesigns and refinements to be on par with the likes of the Motorola Atrix 4G, whose specs are rather beefy and whose features are stellar.
The Motorola DROID BIONIC, now fully resurrected, appears to have shinier edges and seem more squarish at the edges. No specific release date has been given yet, but leaks from inside sources say it’s coming in early August.
The DROID BIONIC will possibly also carry a dual-core processor, since Verizon doesn’t have an LTE-capable dual-core Android superphone yet.
The wait has been very long. A little bit more patience is needed, since the DROID BIONIC is not far from finally coming into the light. Let’s hope it’s really worth the wait.
Will you play around with the “ferocious force” of this “unstoppable machine” once it comes out?
