Qik has updated the Android version of its popular live streaming application for mobile phones. Included in the update is a special treat for Motorola DROID owners – the ability to capture a DVD quality (720×480) stream. Sweet! Updates for Non-DROID owners are more practical than flashy and include bug fixes to improve performance and lower battery consumption. All present and future Qikkers out there can download either the updated application from the Android Market or the APK file directly from Qik’s website. Happy high-res Qikking!
