Purported Galaxy Note Pro image leaks

Galaxy Note Pro

An image reportedly showing the rumored 12.2-inch Galaxy Note Pro has leaked, although neither the device nor the image can be confirmed at this time.

The picture, first spotted by Sam Mobile (via CNET) on South Korean website cdpkorea shows the backside of a large tablet that’s place in landscape position in a display. However, it’s not clear whether this is indeed a Samsung-built device, and the descriptions placed near it aren’t decipherable in the picture. The tablet seems to be rather thin, features a rear facing camera and what could be Samsung’s leather-with-stitches material on the back.

By no means a confirmation of anything, the fact that the image has been taken down from the South Korean website since being initially posted is certainly interesting (see Source link below).

Whatever the device is, it’s also clear that we’re looking at a rather big tablet there. Even if that’s not the Galaxy Note Pro that has been appearing in more and more rumors lately, we’re still interested whether this is an Android device or not.

Interestingly, a render of what the Galaxy Note Pro could look like (image above) shares some similarities with the device in the image above, just check out the left side of the device in both images.

Finally, we’re going to remind you that the Galaxy Note Pro is rumored to be unveiled soon – maybe as soon as CES 2014? – and launch in the first quarter of next year alongside other new, but unofficial, Samsung tablets including the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1, the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite.

However, this is just a rumor at this point, so treat it accordingly.

So when exactly is the Nexus 10 2014 Edition coming out?

    • Henry Lao

Whoever built it could be waiting for a CES 2014 release/announcement. If it doesnt come out by then though, I’ll be giving up on it entirely.

    • MasterMuffin

      ^^^^^^^^^^^ this!

  • wat

I hope to fuck Samsung finally get rid of physical and even capacitive buttons by at least the S5. It is ancient and hideous just like iShit

    • Tanner Hoyt

You just couldn’t resist bashing Apple could you?

      • wat

I could have, but given they are the two worst culprits for it in 2013 I found it entirely relevant to mention. Samsung and Apple both need to cut the hideous crap.

      • jim moore

Thats because Apple is more of an idea and not an actual product. It’s like buying popcorn at a movie theater, you pay a lot of money for a bad product.

        • Zee Ogress

That’s the best description of Apple I’ve ever seen, lol.

    • MarkH

I like the physical buttons. I say, save the screen area for content!
This is one of the reasons that I buy Samsung.

      • wat

The buttons disappear when not being used or when in content which does not require them like watching a movie or playing a game where screen real estate matters………..

        • Skander

          NO for removing the buttons.

  • Data

I’d love it to have to same form factor as the Ativ Q.

  • n11

To me, Samsung must remove Touchwiz and change its physical design which they’ve been using for over 2 years now. Make it prettier.

    • NonAppleholic

Remove Touchwiz? What the F*** are you talking about anyway? But Touchwiz and Sense for HTC are what makes these two companies devices different enough and actually far more usable than standard Android. To most people who actually either companies new devices that have no problem with lag is what they like about them.

You basically can’t get any of the features like Multi Window drag n drop, True Pervasive Multitasking with PoP and PiP and the excellent pull down notifications on Galaxy Line all the competition it seems can only dream of. Where is Android’s own PiP and PoP Pervasive Multitasking w/ full drag n drop App to App interaction? Come on let us know what you hate about being able to actually run full real time multithreading and multitasking that Apple will never be able to run on iOS with it’s privative legacy hierarchical file system from the Dark Ages of Computing on Floppies???

Yeah….. Touchwiz it’s gotten so good, that even the competition that have not been brainwashed into believing not having it is better want it’s best features!!! ;-P
