Calling all Android gamers, here’s something which may pique your interest; today PowerA is launching its Moga Pro controller in the US. Some of you may recognise the brand from when it released its Moga controller last October, but this new product promises to be a step up.

The Moga Pro comes with improved grips on the controller arms, traditional clickable dual-analog sticks, the standard four main buttons, a classic directional pad, left and right shoulder buttons, as well as a trigger on each shoulder. So it has pretty much everything you’d look for in a typical game pad. For ease of use and to ensure compatibility, Moga Pro connects with Android smartphones and tablets via Bluetooth.

As with all gaming products, support for games is always a key point to consider. Supported titles so far include: Dead Trigger, Modern Combat 4, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Tiki Kart 3D, NFL Pro 2013, The Dark Knight Rises HD, Sonic CD, and Jet Set Radio. In the future a greater number of games should also be supported, as developers can make their games compatible with PowerA’s gamepads thanks to the free software development kit.

PowerA’s Moga Pro controller is will set you back $49.99, and is available from Amazon, Walmart, and MOGAanywhere.com. For your cash you’ll also receive a set of rechargeable batteries, a USB charging cord, and a tablet stand.

If for whatever reason you don’t fancy picking one up from any of those retailers, next month the controller will also be on sale at Target, Best Buy, Fred Meyer, GameStop, and in Walmart stores.

If you’re not totally sold on one yet, for a limited time you’ll also receive a free download of the impressive N.O.V.A. 3 when you order your controller.
