For any of our readers who have used iOS and also use public transportation, the name Transit may come to mind. It’s a highly rated, highly effective, and thorough app that shows public transportation schedules for over 40 cities. If you’ve come to Android, but miss Transit, your days of waiting are now over as Transit has made its way to Android.

For those who have never heard of or used Transit, it’s an application that shows you various routes for pretty much all of your transportation needs. These include buses, trains, and subways. They are available in a number of major cities, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Honolulu, Houston, Miami, New York City, San Francisco, Washington DC, and several cities in Mexico, Canada, and even Paris, France.   • Context Aware that remembers which way you go from locations you commonly occupy so it can suggest things for you specifically.
