Deal: PNY 128GB MicroSD card going for $35 on Amazon

by: John DyeJanuary 11, 2016

We’ve just stumbled upon a screaming deal on Amazon. PNY 128GB MicroSD cards are currently selling for $34.99. Since these monstrous little storage devices have a list price of $100, you’re getting an insane 65% off on this deal. To make it even better, this card is Prime-eligible, so you can have it shipped to you in just two days for free. Even if you don’t have Prime, you might still be able to get this shipped for free just by adding another item to your cart to bump the price over that $35 threshold.

This PNY MicroSD card has 60MB/sec transfer rates and can store roughly 45,512 photos. Yeah, you won’t be running out of space any time soon. The card is advertised as magnet proof, shock proof, temperature proof, and waterproof, and it’s backed by a lifetime limited warranty.

The PNY MicroSD is very highly reviewed on Amazon, scoring a solid 4/5 stars. This looks like a pretty solid deal, especially for the price you’re paying here. Just a few years ago, a card this side was prohibitively expensive. We’ve frankly never seen a price this low on a 128GB MicroSD card yet.

What are your thoughts on this deal? Worth the cash, or just a pass? Will you be picking one up? Let us know in the comments! If you’ve used a PNY card of this size before, be sure to tell us about your experience as well. Generally good, or lackluster?
