]Last week at Google I/O 2017, the company revealed it was going to launch Google Lens in the very near future. This new feature will give users more information about the content inside an image. As it turns out, the Pinterest app is testing a similar feature, also called Lens. Today, it announced a new feature for Lens beta that should help people learn how to make great meals via photos.

In a blog post, the company said the Lens beta feature in the Pinterest app can already recognize objects in over 750 categories in images. Now with this update, the Lens beta can take an image of a food dish and generate ideas of how to recreate it by finding online recipes. The update also now allows users to narrow down recipe searches by time, diet and the ingredients you have in your home.

Finally, the new update to the Pinterest app will now show star-based ratings of its recipe listings. Those ratings come from food expert websites like Epicurious, Martha Stewart, and Food Network. Those reviews might also contain extra tips to make sure your version is as good as theirs.
