2008-12-09freeand-6The FreeRunner from Openmoko (and Koolu) has recently been snapped running the up-and-coming Cupcake version of the Android OS. Cupcake will offer a whole host of improved features to Android, including stereo Bluetooth, video recording, and of course the most coveted of all, the dynamic on-screen keyboard. Although the pictures are not of particularly good quality, they are good enough to make the point that Cupcake cannot come too soon. The Freerunner itself has no physical keyboard, QWERTY or otherwise, so this version of Android is paramount to its usability. Pictures from Engadget Mobile after the break.
